INSULATED FLUE KIT

This kit can be modified by adding or subtracting pipe lengths for different ceiling/roof heights.
Designed for a single storey, standard ceiling height installation where the flue exits through the lower part of a pitched roof as in the example diagram below. Single pipes are used from the fireplace to below ceiling level. These single pipes get extremely hot and enhance the efficiency of the fireplace by radiating extra heat into the room. Insulated pipes are used as a safety measure in all roof and ceiling spaces.
The inner and outer walls of our insulated pipes are separated by 25mm high density ceramic fibre with low thermal conductivity. Each insulated pipe end is capped with a twist-lock mechanism making connection fast, neat and simple. This also seals the pipe, preventing water from entering the insulation cavity*. Rain cowls supplied with the insulated pipes also have the twist-lock mechanism.
*Many insulated pipes on the market are not capped, leaving the insulation exposed to potential water ingress.

EXTERNAL FLUE KIT

This kit can be modified by adding or subtracting pipe lengths for different ceiling/roof heights.
Designed to be used where the flue cannot go directly through the roof. The pipe goes up from the fireplace and then through the wall below ceiling level. The vertical section inside the room greatly improves efficiency by radiating extra heat. The external T-Piece catches condensation and has a removable base cover for cleaning. If required, insulated pipes can be used externally by fitting a male adaptor (MAD) above the T-Piece and using larger brackets (SAWB200) on the outside wall.
